Repentant Kings? . . . or Parlato clones?
Before Judge Arcara, William Ralph King was ashamed, apologetic, . . .so tearful he had to compose himself several times,. That was September 24. On October 1, his response to my phone call (home #689-5716, 41 Mahogany Wmsvlle.) was: " I have no comment". His brother Charles also did want to speak. Especially about the ownership of 8 properties Judge Arcara ordered the King brothers to sell toward their court-ordered restitution of $273,500.
Charle's phone (#568-0305; 45 Mahogany, Wmsvlle.) is disconnected. But he answered 'roommate' John Early's old phone (also 45 Mahogany, 636-5416). His reluctance to tell me why I could not find houses he owned on public records was ominous. Further research raised many more questions. Charles formed FIVE new business names in July & August 2000, three months after their guilty plea to a HUD-FHA scam on 5 houses in April, 2000. The DBA's (all at 45 Mahogany, in Charle's name only) are:

Adding to the confusion, Charles became president of newly-formed Frontier Capital Corp., 2762 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester 14626, (716)510-5716, filed on 1/8/01. They acquired or sold 6 houses under that new entity (68 Rogers, 257 LaSalle [UNSOLD}, 35 Rounds, 441 Dartmouth, 38 Rounds & 276 Berkshire). And Frontier Capital filed another DBA as Straight Line on Jan. 1, 2001.
In the past the brothers owned property in their own names, & recently carried out their FHA scam as Barons Development. But only one of the eight houses ordered sold by the court is listed to any of these TWELVE names (130 Floss, Barons Dev.) More research found the other seven are owned by Suriel Development, 422 Teakwood, Williamsville, the new address of Charles former roommate John Early. Suriel Development is unlisted. Early's number (565-0542) answers merely, "This is John". Suriel's earliest activity was in late 2000, about 6 months after the guilty plea.. It looks like a typical Parlato ploy: when your scam is exposed, lay low, re-invent yourself . . .& change your name. Parlato did it 10 times (current name: Buffalo Renovation Group).
Have the King's allied with John Early? William King's cry of poverty & inability to work because of their exposure as scammers rings hollow. The King's have been rather busy since their April, 2000 plea. Their currently owned houses (all under Suriel Dev, except 130 Floss under Barons Dev) . . . :
