You have not responded to serious concerns about your suitability to be City Court Judge. I still need to see your resume to evaluate compensating training & experience for your lack of a law degree.

I am also very troubled about your unwillingness to discuss Parking Enforcement Hearing Officer Gregory Fina, Esq. whom you supervise. He has lied about his residency in Kenmore since 1990 & is widely viewed as incompetent. Most serious is a powerful appearance that he was involved in launching the King brother's (Chas & Wm) Parlato-style HUD-FHA scam from his former 296 Baynes St. home. The Kings pled guilty in April 2000, but they are yet to be sentenced on their improper sale of scores of HUD-insured houses. Foreclosure of 296 Baynes alone cost HUD over $95,000.

As you know, I have been prosecuted 10 times (all charges dismissed) by DA Clark in blatant violation of my first amendment rights as a journalist-activist exposing city hall corruption. I am currently being prosecuted an 11th time by Clark on behalf of controversial County Independence Party Chair Charlie Flynn. The nine pages of charges, filed again by ADA Drmacich (filed charges all 11X), are incredible & false charges of "felony FAXing" (of a newsletter I send to many community leaders) & "harassment by bicycle" of Flynn's (5) young children at Flynn's' S. Buffalo home. No matter that Flynn was convicted of criminal tampering & ordered for counseling in 1994 when he impersonated Milton Kader after being fired as Realtor, asking Niagara Mohawk to shut off office power (See news clippings on www.kernwatch.com).

I am also troubled by your close ties to the "Perla machine" which I have repeatedly exposed as a major cause of precipitous West Side decline (Fina handled the Clarence home purchase of Perla-lieutenant, BMHA Assist. Exec. Tom Wms, paid$73,000 with a GED while lying that he lives on devastated West Ave with his mother-in-law). Your boss Lenny Sciolino threatened me with arrest should I attempt to talk to you again in Parking Enforcement Offices. (I also exposed his son Lenny's BMHA-HUD-funded $37,000 "Crime Analyst" job created by the machine when his HUD-funded CPR [City Properties Rehab] job shut down in scandal). That places you in the center of another possible effort to shut down my free speech rights.

I have also written extensively about Chief City Court Judge Wilbur Trammell, finally convicted of stealing $25,000 of approximately $3 million of missing HUD funds. City Hall staff long alleged, "You can't touch Trammell!" (indeed his son-business partner son Mark was never charged), no judge or community leader expressed outrage that Trammel betrayed his public trust as moral leader . .while stealing from the poor . .as HUD, widely viewed as corrupt, is currently being targeted for investigation by Congressman LaFalce.

Your lack of formal legal training, strong ties to the Perla machine, & refusal to discuss powerful appearance of involvement in HUD-housing corruption raise questions about your suitability to be Judge. (Incredibly, Fina is Vice Chair of WSNHS, long controlled by the Perla machines. WSNHS also refuses to discuss Fina). Your (well funded) campaign slogan "for the People" smacks of a cynical charade if you refuse to address serious campaign issues. Indeed, silence about these concerns raises questions about adequacy of the mechanisms we use to select judges. These issues need public exposure and debate.
