OPEN LETTER City Hall Watch July8
To: Peter Fiorella, Esq.; Independence Party Counsel Copy to Erie Co Bar Assoc; G. Brown Esq; Rev. J Lagona Esq; M Kuzma Esq; P. Fallon, Esq; D Irwin, Esq; T. McKelvey Esq; D. Jay Esq; B Zavah Esq; RT Runfola Esq; Human Relations Commission; NYCLU: Nat Confer; media From: Richard Kern, MSW, Activist-journalist I am outraged that you as a lawyer, sworn to Uphold & Defend the Constitution & seek justice as an officer of the court, are subverting sacred principles of a free society in a so-called 3rd party. Having German-genes I am sensitive to both dangers of political corruption & the banality of evil(Hannah Arendt). Eichmann started out small to please his fuhrer. Encountering little resistance from respectable society, he spawned genocide on a massive scale. M. Drmacich Esq. bears frightening similarity to that infamous model of pleasing ones boss. Called Quality of Life Prosecutor, while corrupting the justice system, also smacks of fascist upside-down-speak. Your suborning perjury & slander by a known scammer & criminal tamperer, (Charlie Flynn) repeatedly-fired for misconduct, is no better. Calling it INDEPENDENCE Party while trampling our basic freedoms is evil. It makes you part of the widespread disillu-sionment leading to extremes like McViegh (& fascist death penalties in response). I know the personal toll it has taken on me to unlearn basic trust I had in the system when younger. I now know that every visit to court (or city hall) is a crapshoot, with arrest (or conviction) on false charges an imminent possibility. And there is DA Clark, & his Eichmann (& you?) ready to silence me in any way possible, in a city whose decline is heavily related to government corruption (see Worst Governed Cities: Buffalo & New Orleans: Governing Journal, Feb 2000) Are lawyer-oaths a scam? Are you a Defender of the Constitution? A (honorable) Court Officer? A Seeker of Justice? I see, instead silence of respectable society. The cost of stopping Buffalos injustice is tiny compared to Nazi Germany. Although incentives to foster injustice, thereby creating more work in a city with WAY TOO MANY LAWYERS & a bustling criminal justice industry, needs more focus. I await your response & will print it on www.kernwatch.com. |
