Buffalo/Cheektowaga County Legislator David Dale enters office under cloud: David Dale beat Greg Olma. It's dubious as yet as to whether Erie County residents are better off.

First, it's obvious to some that Dale lives outside the district, residing in Lancaster, but using his law office as his residence. Dale was taken to court shortly before the election on this matter, and the case is on appeal. We'll keep you up to date on Dale's residency.

Second, Dale spent an increadible amount of money that hasn't yet been totalled. Kernwatch.com will be detailing the amount raised and spent by Democratic Party boss Steve Pigeon on Dale's behalf. According to the Buffalo News, the money raised by Pigeon was of dubious means. Whether that is the case or not, we will detail campaign spending in this race in the next few weeks.

Third, it has come to light that Dale may have used funds from the Broadway Market to ensure good press from a Buffalo weekly. The Broadway Market has recently begun taking out ads in ALT Press, which has no policy towards endorsing political candidates, yet endorsed and wrote favorably about Dale's election chances. A quid pro quo? We'll let you make the call. Dale is President of the Broadway Market Board.

Most disturbing in all of this is that Buffalo's largest real estate scammer and multi-millionnaire Frank Parlato is claiming to be a Dale confidant, openly escorting Dale through the political circles. Parlato's block-busting and devistating neighborhood-ruining real estate practices, which have devestated Buffalo's East Side, are now on the "inside" of politics, as opposed to the outside, opposing Olma.

Kernwatch will update and follow each of these topics in the coming weeks.
