On November 16, 2001, I visited the Erie County Board of Elections to file an affidavit swearing that Thomas Williams, Jr. and Tony Farina have voted from an address at which they do not reside. Political games have existed in the City forever, and will probably exist forever, but the fiscal crisis now crippling the City is directly tied to poor leadership and a lack of skill in those being hired.
One particularly disgusting aspect to our fiscal crisis is Nanula's claim to be taking two days a week off to campaign, using city resources no doubt. His staff is no better.
