| Public activist and journalist Dick Kern. | Follow the money. That's what the popular saying is. Raising and spending political money is a huge business in Buffalo, so Kernwatch.com has decided to begin gathering data and posting online. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Affidavit's of voter inconsistency during the 2001 election season have officially been filed.
On November 16, 2001, I visited the Erie County Board of Elections to file an affidavit swearing that Thomas Williams, Jr. and Tony Farina have voted from an address at which they do not reside. Political games have existed in the City forever, and will probably exist forever, but the fiscal crisis now crippling the City is directly tied to poor leadership and a lack of skill in those being hired. |

It's just too easy to take shots at our City Comtroller lately. But it is interesting to see all the links that are falling in upon themselves. We'll point them out in succession. Keep watching.
One particularly disgusting aspect to our fiscal crisis is Nanula's claim to be taking two days a week off to campaign, using city resources no doubt. His staff is no better. From Nanula's government webiste, here is how you contact him: jtooke@city-buffalo.com From his campaign website for NYS Comptroller, this is how you'd contact Nanula: jtooke@nanulaforny.com Seem simliliar? Makes you want to throw up. |

A particularly troubling campaign finance issue has arisen with Greg Olma. His "legal defense fund" money was never reported to the Board of Elections, but ended up in his personal account. Olma has told kernwatch.com that the money is none of his business. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
